Karthik grew up in India and pursued his Bachelors in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and technology. He has worked on projects designing salen based catalysts for carrying out different reactions like epoxidation, cyclopropanation etc. As a Pharmaceutical engineer at the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, Karthik worked on developing strategies to deuterate drug molecules.

Fun Facts

When not in the lab, Karthik can probably be found outside. He loves playing tennis, trail Hiking, cycling, running and playing video games. He likes to shop a lot. Someone has to pull him out of the store to make him realise when to stop. Also he is very friendly and sociable and likes to talk to people.
