Bio

Marco was raised in Waukesha, Wisconsin and  obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Xavier University (Ohio), graduating with honors. During his time at Xavier, Marco conducted research with Dr. Craig Davis where he used oxime ligands to stabilize transition  metal complexes in uncommon oxidation states. Marco spent the summer of 2022 synthesizing 1,10-phenanthroline derivatives in Dr. Andrew Roberts’ lab at The University of Utah and the summer of 2023 synthesizing vinyl- and allenyl- germanes in Dr. Alejandro Pérez-Luna’s ROCS lab at Sorbonne Université Campus Pierre et Marie Curie.
