Shirley was born and raised in China before going to UCSB to pursue a B.S. in Chemistry. Beyond her passion for chemistry, she is a dedicated dancer, specializing in hip-hop and choreography. In her spare time, she enjoys playing badminton, hiking, and traveling to explore nature.
