David grew up in Albany California and came to UCSB as a bio major but after taking Bruce's organic chemistry classes and some biochem he realized that chemistry was way cooler. He is currently pursuing a degree in pharmacology plus a minor (or maybe a double major?) in chemistry and aside from academic stuff he is also on the school rowing team.
